COME INTO
THE ROOM.
For accomplished women who still dream, still want things and still have a lot of life to live.
You’ve already created a lot.
A business. A career. Money. A family. A life you’re proud of.
You’re not here because your life isn’t good enough.
And you don’t need someone to convince you that you’re capable of creating what you want.
You have decades of evidence that you can.
But maybe there’s something you want to talk about.
A decision. An idea. A dream. A change. Something you want. Something you’re questioning. Something you can’t stop thinking about.
Or maybe the next thing simply isn’t obvious yet.
The Hot Seat Sessions are substantive, personal coaching conversations with me, shared in a room with other accomplished women.
You bring your conversation.
They bring theirs.
And we all get to listen.
Come Into The RoomFridays at 12 PM Pacific through December 18
You are still a woman who wants things.
You’ve spent a lot of your life dreaming things up and making them real.
You’ve had an idea and built it.
Wanted something and figured out how to create it.
Made decisions without having every answer.
Took risks.
Changed your mind.
Built a life that probably would have amazed an earlier version of you.
And you’re proud of it.
Maybe you know exactly what you want next.
Maybe you have three ideas and don’t know which one you actually love.
Maybe you’re questioning something that used to feel certain.
Maybe you want something you can’t quite justify.
Maybe the dream hasn’t fully arrived yet.
None of that means you’ve lost your way.
It might simply mean you need somewhere good to think.
YOU’VE SPENT A LOT OF YOUR LIFE IN ROOMS THAT NEED SOMETHING FROM YOU.
This room doesn’t.
The boardroom wants your leadership.
The meeting wants your decisions.
Your business wants your answers.
Your family needs something.
The networking room wants your introduction, your story, your connections.
Even a lot of women’s groups want your participation, vulnerability, support and engagement.
This room is different.
You don’t have to lead it.
You don’t have to impress anyone.
You don’t have to contribute to the conversation.
You don’t have to take care of anybody.
You don’t even have to turn on your camera.
Listen.
Think.
Dream.
And when there’s something you want to talk about, take the chair.
Come Into The RoomMaybe what you’re craving is a substantive conversation.
Not another conversation about what needs to get done.
Not another meeting.
Not another person who needs something from you.
Not another well-meaning friend telling you what she thinks you should do.
A real conversation.
About something you’re actually thinking about.
Something you’re considering.
Something you’re dreaming about.
Something you’re questioning.
Something you want.
Something you may not want anymore.
Something you haven’t figured out how to articulate yet.
I’ll listen.
I’ll ask questions.
I’ll challenge assumptions.
I’ll notice what you keep saying.
I’ll notice what you keep avoiding.
I don’t need you to make a particular decision.
I’m not invested in what your answer should be.
I’m interested in what you think.
What you want.
What you know.
And sometimes, what you haven’t quite admitted to yourself yet.
What can you bring into the room?
Your conversation isn’t the only one you came for.
There is something extraordinary about listening to a smart, accomplished woman think honestly about her life.
Her business may be different from yours.
Her marriage may be different.
Her money may be different.
Her dream may be completely different.
And then she’ll say something.
Or I’ll ask her a question.
That’s me.
And suddenly you’re answering the question for yourself.
You recognize something you’ve been doing.
You hear a belief you didn’t realize you shared.
You watch her give herself permission for something you’ve been unwilling to give yourself permission for.
Or you hear her dream out loud and remember:
That’s why the other women are in the room.
They’re not there to network with you.
They’re not there to give you advice.
They’re having their own substantive conversations.
And you get to listen.
Just as they get to listen to yours.
Their conversations contribute to you.
You could join the Hot Seat Sessions, never take the chair, and still leave this experience thinking differently.
I Want In The Room
JOIN THE HOT SEAT.
NEVER TAKE THE CHAIR.
Seriously.
You could come every Friday.
Turn your camera off.
Drink your coffee.
Listen.
Never say a word to me.
And I believe the room could still be worth the investment.
You’re investing in time inside a room where accomplished women are having substantive conversations about things that actually matter to them.
Listening is participation.
Sometimes the conversation that changes something for you will not even be yours.
How The Hot Seat Sessions Work
Come in.
We meet live every Friday at 12 PM Pacific, continuing through December 18. One hour. No lesson. No preparation. No homework.
Listen.
Listen to smart, experienced women bring real things into the room. You do not have to participate to participate.
Take the chair.
When you want to, bring the decision, idea, desire, frustration, possibility or question you want to talk about. I’ll coach you.
Keep listening.
Every call is added to a private Hot Seat podcast just for the women who register, so you can revisit conversations and catch calls you miss.
This isn’t group coaching in the way you may be imagining it.
No breakout rooms.
No accountability partners.
No forced vulnerability.
No homework.
No curriculum.
No sitting around bitching about our lives.
No obligation to become everyone’s new best friend.
One conversation.
One thing that matters.
Everyone else gets to listen.
Then another woman brings hers.
That’s the room.
Who am I to ask you these questions?
I’m Kris Plachy.
For years, I’ve worked privately with accomplished women who are building, changing, releasing, deciding, dreaming and figuring out what they want now.
I’m a coach.
But I’m probably not the kind of coach who is going to give you a five-step plan for your life.
I listen.
I ask questions.
I notice the thing you said three sentences ago that you just breezed right past.
I hear what you know before you’re quite willing to call it knowing.
And I’m very comfortable sitting with you when the answer isn’t obvious yet.
The women I work with are accomplished.
They are dreamers and achievers.
They have created businesses, careers, families, money, opportunities and lives they are proud of.
They don’t need someone telling them what to do.
They need somewhere to think.
Somewhere to say the thing out loud.
Someone willing to ask the question underneath the question.
And a room filled with other women having conversations at that same level.
What might happen in the room?
SOME THINGS DON’T NEED MORE TIME.
THEY NEED A BETTER CONVERSATION.
Because the things you’re thinking about matter.
At this stage of life, we aren’t making insignificant decisions.
We’re deciding what to do with businesses.
What to do with money.
How we want to work.
Where we want to live.
What relationships we want to change.
Which ideas deserve our attention.
Which opportunities are actually ours.
And how we want to spend an extraordinary amount of life still available to us.
Some decisions deserve time.
But there is a difference between thoughtfully considering something and spinning on it.
I think you know the difference.
Attention.
Energy.
Sleep.
Opportunity.
Time.
Sometimes money.
Sometimes the thing you need is not another six months.
