1️⃣ It's crucial to consider the value the person in the role will deliver when thinking about salary ranges. Pay them commensurate with the impact their role has on the organization's success. 

2️⃣ Consistency is important along with clear criteria for each level of performance. 

3️⃣ Establish a clear correlation between results and rewards when paying people.
