Module 9, Lesson 3: Money & Self-Worth

Have you ever considered the connection between self-worth and financial behaviors?

Self-worth impacts your earning potential, savings, and spending habits. Financial success may elude individuals with a low sense of self-worth, leading to challenges in managing and respecting money.

1️⃣ Self-worth is intertwined with financial behaviors - Emotional triggers often lead to behaviors like overspending, under-earning, and seeking buffers to avoid facing emotions.

2️⃣  Self-worth is not contingent on financial status - Money doesn't increase self-worth; it's an inside job. Developing self-worth begins with telling ourselves the truth and recognizing the need for personal growth.

3️⃣ Challenge the status quo and own your worth - Women, especially at executive levels, are encouraged to negotiate and ask for what they deserve confidently. But first, you must decide what you want and hold yourself accountable to going after it and getting it.
