Module 11, Lesson 4: Performance Agreement Reviews
Through the numerous conversations with women leaders, we have discovered that many people struggle with the intricacies of conducting performance reviews. Therefore, we have designed this lesson to address those concerns and equip you with the knowledge and tools to conduct performance reviews that truly make a difference.
1️⃣ Designing a Meaningful Performance Review: Designing a performance review requires evaluation and assessment. It's crucial to measure and witness the aspects being evaluated, such as values, production, and goal attainment.
2️⃣ Establishing Agreements and Alignment: Regularly check in on agreements made during the performance review process to ensure alignment between company expectations and employee goals. Encourage ongoing communication and provide mentorship opportunities to empower employees to handle compensation issues effectively.
3️⃣ Mitigating Risks and Ensuring Consistency: Performance reviews create structure and consistency for assessing performance and adjusting compensation, especially as the company grows. Avoid arbitrary raises and instead base salary decisions on a well-defined performance review process to mitigate risks associated with unfair compensation.
